Vacating the Right Way – Now you’re on the move!
When you’ve decided you would like to end your tenancy, please ensure that you give a sufficient amount of notice prior to vacating your property. You are required to give us 14 days notice in writing – The Form 13 Notice of in Intention to Leave is to be filled in and sent to us at least 14 days prior to vacating. This Form is attached below. Please ensure that you return ALL KEYS provided to you at the beginning of your tenancy and any extra sets which have been cut or changed. The property is to be cleaned to an acceptable standard.
A vacating checklist is attached below. We strongly suggest you consider using professional bond cleaners/carpet cleaners as this will save you your time and efforts. If pets were kept at the property, a flea treatment will need to be done and receipt provided upon vacating.
Breaking your lease?
If you wish to break the lease at your property, you will be responsible for the following:
- Letting Fee/ Break Lease Fee (1 weeks rent + GST)
- Advertising Fees – $100
- Rental payments until the day the new tenants move into the property
- Upkeep of cleanliness and yard maintenance whilst vacant
